El Meridiano is a Square Mile classic for a reason! This mini-blend from eight producers is the last in our series of three coffees of different lots from producers in the town of Herrera. Most farmers produce a range of lots across various quality grades. To create more robust supply chains, we buy as many different lots as possible from the same communities or farmers. Our buying partner Caravela helped us source three levels of coffee from Herrera this year: a blackberry-syrupy community blend for Red Brick (59 farmers), La Pradera, an exceptional honey process yellow bourbon from José Hernán Quintero and El Meridiano, a smaller-scale community blend with fudge sweetness and yellow plum acidity (8 farmers). Bright and elevating like sipping on a ray of sunshine, here’s to another delicious year of El Meridiano!
